HARDWARE & SOFTWARE DESCRIPTIONS AgriIno 

(Mobile-Based Handheld nutrients Estimation & Recommendation) 

AgriIno is an Android-based application developed to help farmers to estimate the status of Chlorophyll and Nitrogen contents in each plant by using non-destructive method. This device incorporates remote-sensing technology and is capable of providing proper and real-time fertilization recommendations according to the nutrient need in each plant. Hardware and software applications are used in a single unit designed for farmers’ convenience.

HOW TO USE THE APPLICATION 

Procedure: 

1. Connect micro USB from the hardware to smartphone 

2. Open AgriIno app in smartphone 

3. For direct leaves measurement, we provide two measurement methods, namely Absorbance and Reflectance. 

4. Activating Absorbance method: switch on the absorbance LED and switch off the reflectance LED (by rotating the potentiometer). 

5. Activating Reflectance method: switch on the reflectance LED (by rotating the potentiometer) and switch off the absorbance LED.

TROUBLE SHOOTING 

Q: Are all Android Mobile phones compatible with the application? 

A: Not all Android phones are compatible.Only those that support OTG features are compatible. If your phone has OTG feature, please install "USB OTG Checker" from Google Play. 

Q: What should we do when the cable is connected, and the AgriIno app has been opened, but it has not started? 

A: The first step to do is to make sure the hardware / USB cable is connected to your mobile phone; then open the AgriIno app
