Jember Nov 11, 2025 – PT Precision Agriculture Indonesia (PAG) collaborating with KOMINFO of East Java in a capacity building program aimed at introducing local farmers to the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in agriculture. The program was designed to strengthen farmers’ understanding of digital technology and its role in modernizing Indonesia’s agricultural practices. Through this collaboration, PAG shared insights on how AI can be utilized to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in farming operations, while also fostering digital literacy among rural communities.
During the session, PAG delivered comprehensive training on smart farming technologies and the practical use of drones for precision agriculture. Farmers were introduced to the concept of data-driven decision making using real-time information to monitor crop health, assess soil conditions, and optimize fertilization. Demonstrations of drone applications in land mapping and crop surveillance were also conducted, helping farmers understand how aerial imaging and automation can significantly reduce time, labor, and costs in field management.
Through this initiative, PAG reaffirms its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s agricultural transformation through innovation and technology. By bridging the gap between farmers and modern digital tools, PAG aims to empower local communities to adopt smarter, more sustainable farming methods. This collaboration with KOMINFO of East Java represents a shared vision of building an intelligent agricultural ecosystem one that harnesses the power of AI, IoT, and automation to create a more resilient and competitive agricultural future for Indonesia.
