Jember Nov 10, 2025 – PT Precision Agriculture Indonesia (PAG) had the privilege of attending the launch of Universitas Jember’s (UNEJ) AI Center for Industrial Agriculture, a significant milestone in advancing AI-driven innovation for the agricultural sector. The launch, held as part of UNEJ’s 61st Anniversary celebration, marks a strategic step toward accelerating smart farming and strengthening Indonesia’s agritech ecosystem. The event took place at the UNEJ Auditorium and brought together university leaders, researchers, and industry partners committed to transforming agriculture through technology. UNEJ reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong innovation ecosystem that produces research with real impact for farmers, communities, and industry.

The AI Center is equipped with High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure to enable large-scale AI model development, cross-disciplinary research, and downstream innovation. The facility is expected to serve as a collaborative hub for AI-based solutions across key sectors, including Smart Agriculture, Robotics & Healthcare, and Assistive Technology. Several breakthrough innovations were introduced, demonstrating UNEJ’s strong research capabilities and industry relevance.

As part of the launch, PAG showcased our agritech innovations developed within UNEJ’s research ecosystem. Our participation reflects PAG’s commitment to bridging university research and real-world agricultural needs through applicable, scalable, and farmer-friendly technologies. The establishment of UNEJ’s AI Center opens new opportunities for collaboration in research, product development, and the acceleration of AI implementation in agriculture. We believe this initiative strengthens Indonesia’s journey toward modern, efficient, and globally competitive agriculture—powered by data, innovation, and local talent.
