PAG Strengthens Strategic Engagement with Pupuk Indonesia on Precision Agriculture

Jakarta, 4 February 2026, PT Precision Agriculture Indonesia (PAG) held an in-depth strategic discussion with Pupuk Indonesia to explore opportunities for long-term collaboration in the development and deployment of precision agriculture technologies. The meeting marked an important initial step toward establishing a formal partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or a Cooperation Agreement (PKS).

During the discussion, both parties exchanged views on the potential integration of ground-based sensing systems, geospatial data, and data-driven decision-support tools to improve fertilizer application accuracy at the field level. This approach is expected to help farmers optimize input usage, increase crop productivity, and reduce environmental impact.

The proposed collaboration also reflects a shared commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture and strengthening national food security through innovation. PAG and Pupuk Indonesia expressed mutual interest in continuing technical and institutional discussions to define the scope, pilot programs, and implementation roadmap for future joint initiatives.
